There is nothing worse than the guy who desperately stares at you in an effort to make eye contact, and if you look back at him, immediately assumes "she looked at me! That means a one way ticket to pound town, whoohoo!" Eye contact doesn't count as flirting if she can't avoid your gaze, dudes!
There was this guy today at the cafe, where we were the only two people in the room, and he kept on staring at me, while I was eating, doing homework, and using the phone. And as I was using Tinder, I saw his profile, it was quite racially charged and full of fetishization (think confederate flags, Yellow Fever,…
I see a lot of hate for something that was never marketed as anything other than what it is, and has found some pretty good success in Japan. If you don't like microtransaction games just don't play them.
I'm pretty sure he just did it to please the investors. If he was to use another website like IGN Nintendo scores would fall behind because they are not Call of Duty or Assassins Creed
You know what made VII great? The character designs somewhat made sense. Cloud was dressed in rough pants? Boots, and a cuirass because he was in the military. Barrett wore a tee, a torn vest and rough khakis/boots because he was a worker in a mining town before having his life ruined by the government's greed. Tifa…
Oh Nomura, it's a real shame how he went from a talented character designer to the cancer that killer Square (along with Toriyama, of course).
He was good when working alongside a group of talented game designers that told him the type of characters he had to design. Now that he has complete creative freedom he fucking…
I think the reason that the designs of VII are still well-regarded while most of his recent design work has been largely mocked is because it was one of those situations where the art was actually aided by the limitations of the time. In the early Playstation days a character had to be recognizable in fairly simple,…
Although I am by no means what you would call a "fan" of Nomura's work (especially after SE decided to base every.single.important.game off of it), I appreciate what he did with FFVII. The characters became iconic because of it, and were household names to my high school friends. Had SE just kept the art style…
Pretty sure you are legally obligated to propose marriage to such a man upon meeting him.
Using examples is not the same thing as cherry-picking. That is one example that could be considered cherry-picking, but it's only one. Actually, one could accuse you of cherry-picking for using it, by your logic.
You know i have spent years debating about people nitpicking every word Anita says. Trust me, your words fall on deaf ears, it's not worth it. They won't change their unreasonable hate as much as i won't change my distate for....umm "The wolf of wallstreet" movie.
First of all, it's not pseudo-science, nor is it science. Her field falls under the humanities, not science. Pseudo-science is using fancy scientific terms to justify bullshit. It's not legitimate, by definition. The humanities, on the other hand, are legitimate. Some things aren't actually quantifiable, and you…
If you don't know Anita Sarkeesian's last name, it is hard for me to believe you know how smart or dumb she is. I'm not her biggest defender, since I find her work very dry and dull, but she is quite smart. Her videos are well researched and her analysis is pretty good.
You don't know what the word "feasible" means, do you?
It's definitely feasible. It's scarily easy to imagine some extreme Anita Sarkeesian hater (like, say, this guy) channeling his rage into actual terrorism.
Trust me; Kotaku is not keeping GamerGate alive. They're still active on Twitter and Reddit and whatever seedy underbelly of the Internet they've crawled into.
Manfortress continues to be the true hero of this entire clusterfuck.
