On a side note...why doesn’t NASCAR just use rain tires and just keep going? It would be a skills lesson and would make it more entertaining for those like me who watch F1, IMSA, WEC, etc. Think of the tire strategies the teams would have to deal with other than “air”(nitrogen) pressures and all that then.

This does make for an advance in conventional aircraft utilizing solar cells on the topsides of thair winges and fuselages.
