“We do not and have never condoned discrimination or hate speech in any form.”
Except financially, apparently.

You're right. I'm sure there's a very small percentage of the regular readers here who'd be interested in hearing a live Sleater-Kinney album.

There's a diner in my town that was featured on his show. They've got the best homefries I've ever had, but there's an autographed poster of Guy Fieri hanging up on one wall. It's always a gamble, because if I don't sit in the right seat I might get stuck looking at the poster and therefore lose my appetite.

It's everything I liked about Symphony of the Night, just with more to do. I liked having the quests to complete, the partner system kept the gameplay interesting enough, and being able to travel through the different paintings was a breath of fresh air after 25 years of specifically exploring castles and the swamps

It's the best of the classic style, but anything from SOTN forward is a different beast so it's not really fair to compare them.
For the record: Portrait of Ruin just barely ekes out the win over Symphony of the Night when it comes to the "Metroidvania" style in my opinion.

I really dug the first one, but the 2nd was a huge step back in quality.

OW is pretty great with checks and balances. Team her up with someone like Reinhardt and, if done properly, the whole team is pretty much unstoppable. That and the nature of the game not being focused on "kill the other team more times than they kill you" gives you plenty of opportunities to shine in the post-game

His whole "constant healing for anyone around him" is an absolute plus. It might not be as potent as other healers, but it leaves you free to lay some support fire down.

You could make an argument for House Karstark. Kind of like House Stark, but ultimately of little consequence.

This news seems familiar, and yet… what do it here?

Gotta replenish what you use in a workout. Not healthy if you don't

Screw running. Get a heavy bag and beat the hell out of it for a few rounds. Way less boring and (in my experience) just as effective as running a few interval workouts.

This one's for youuuuuuuuuuuuuu, Morph!

No The Air Up There? Wait… was that Disney or does it just seem like it should've been?

I picked a copy of Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin with some of my Amazon Christmas shopping, so replaying that a whole lot in between all the Overwatch and Uncharted 4.
Anyone else playing Overwatch? I've been playing as Lucio recently. Mainly due to the fact that no one I've been grouped with wants to be the healer.

What about my beloved (for some reason) Eagles? What's that house that was all hyped up at first but then got killed horribly early on?

My brothers and I decided last year that Christmas was more about the kids having fun, so the focus is 100% on my nephews and niece. That being said, I still walked away with an Amazon gift card, a new pair of gloves (the kind that will react to a smart phone screen!), a new pair of Bluetooth headphones, and a beard

Working three jobs has plenty of downsides. Having three different Christmas parties to attend isn't the worst of them, but it will cut into my free time. Finally was able to make it back to the gym yesterday. I feel a little sore, but I also am easing my way back into weights (no way would I be walking around today

It sucks that GZA bailed, but Talib Kwali is a pretty decent replacement. Have fun!

Got blitzed on Jack and Coke Zero on Christmas night. Did karaoke at a local bar.
A friend of mine's family owns a restaurant in the town we grew up in (about ten minutes away from where we live now), and they usually do a $40 open bar (for domestic and well drinks) with cocktail snacks and a champagne toast at
