I don’t know how the wife drives her car like she does. She doesn’t slip the clutch AT ALL instead she lugs the engine down with the clutch somehow managing not to kill the engine. She’s got 100k on the thing now and it still seems to hold as strong as ever. It might last 300k the way she drives it.

With a manual and a vehicle with any power you are essentially INVENTING shifts that don’t have to happen and when you pour on enough throttle to NEED to really row a manual by the time you shift twice you’re already going to ludicrous speed fully on the way to plaid.
