The article states that an emphasis is being placed on maneuverability. Judging by its size or lack thereof compared to the f16 chase plane it appears to not be nearly as bloated as many bleeding edge fighter designs.

When having to remove valve springs and keepers remove the spark plug and fill the cylinder with enough rope to prevent passing TDC. Bring the piston up by hand till it bottoms out on the rope and VIOLA no dropped valves
