It was so unfair---this brilliant, talented, kind young man who was just starting to hit his stride, to be taken in such a terrible and stupid way. All these old evil monsters live forever and this wonderful person gets robbed of everything he could have been.

I really love Yelchin’s work; I was heartbroken when I found out about his death. I can’t imagine the pain that loss put his parents through. He was such a talented artist, and there’s some consolation in seeing that by his family, friends, and colleagues, he was deeply loved.

This is my argument as well. If men can’t “control themselves”. Not only in terms of sexual harassment and abuse of women, but in terms of generalized violence (they commit 90% of violent crimes), then why should they be given power and control? They obviously can’t be trusted to conduct themselves properly.

If boys and men are that powerless to their urges, then they shouldn't be allowed in public, including school. After all, if a hemline puts them on a direct path to Satan, they're not going to learn anything in school anyway. Quarantine them until they stop sexualizing people.

Hey, Christian schools, want to avoid this kind of controversy? Instead of rambling on about how long a girl’s hemline has to be before it doesn’t make Jesus cry, why not preach to the boys about what the good Lord told them to do in these situations?

Yeah, even if I were a bit annoyed thinking that it was a “do as I say, not as I do” thing, I’d roll my eyes and go on with my day. Not photograph the woman (!) and put her on blast on Twitter.

See, even if it is against the rules for passengers to eat on the train, I’d just assume that the employee would have dispensation as they are on the darned things all day...and mind my own business.

I admit that I’m annoyed by people who eat on transit (irrationally so; I have weird issues about hearing people eat thanks to misophonia, too) but I can’t IMAGINE doing something like this; if it’s getting to me, I get up and move. Life goes on.
