Preach. I really feel like this will be the creep’s last film.
Preach. I really feel like this will be the creep’s last film.
I think Allen is done, honestly. I doubt he ever faces meaningful consequences for his actions, but the rolling snowball that is #TimesUp has picked up enough speed that being in a film of his has flipped from being a career boost to being a toxic stain on the resume. I mean, people are already being shamed into…
And it will add to the pressure for decent actors not to take parts in any future Allen films, at least not without even super uncomfortable questions being asked. It’s a good step.
the kid is only 22 and he has more integrity than Colin Firth, Joaquin Phoenix, Javier Bardem or any of the other men in his recent films. None of those actors needed the work or money and chose to make a Woody film anyway.
“Hey, want to go see that new Mark Wahlberg movie? I don’t know what it’s about, but it must be good if he’s in it.”
— absolutely no one, ever
I was shocked to discover he was the highest paid actor in Hollywood last year. The guy has the emotional range of a fire hydrant. In the movie, it’s comical how they put him in…
His “youthful indisgressions” are horrific. When talking about famous black people , some love mention that Jay - Z once sold drugs, and therefore will always be a shitbag, but will absolutely admire Walberg and watch his movies. From Wikipedia:
So will this earn him that dreaded “Difficult To Work With” label that results in your acting career going down the shitter, or at least leaving you glad to get roles in Lifetime movies? Or does that rule only apply to female performers who refuse to do nude sex scenes or touch the director’s pee-pee, not dudebros who…
It’s amazing how Mira Sorvino has done nothing that can compare with all the rapists, harassers, and assailants who have been exposed over the last few months but she managed to write the must vulnerable, transparent, and effective apology of all the public apologies that have been coming out. That’s empathy for you.…
I think outing herself was Donegan’s way of regaining control. Imagining what drove her to create that list in the first place, I doubt there’s nothing left else that she’s afraid of.
If the Obamas are going to the royal wedd8ng, I would like to see them. However, after a drink, I’d probably grab them and start to ugly cry. Handcuff myself to them, drag them back to the WH, end up arrested....so Ricky’s bash sounds good.
In other Obama news:
I am so heartened that so few of my jezzies are familiar with this.
I’m sure it made plenty of sense to white men. And still does to a lot of them.
Yep. It’s really shitty because often times it’s accurate - the micro enforcement of policies in order to get rid of someone. Very few of us could stand up to the scrutiny and pressure employed by companies attempting to get rid of a perceived lawsuit threat (whether harassment, discrimination, or workman’s comp).
Ah, the perennially untouchable “performance reasons” defense. Fucking assholes.
She does talk to her father, or at least invited him to the wedding. It sounds like the relationship isn’t great or close, but that there is one.
I liked it except that I think they chose the most boring story they could have told for the interesting universe they created. Will Smith spouting one-liners is boring.
