And don't forget Raj's big crush on Bernadette. It would be completely lame to put Raj and Amy together after he's tried to get (either physically or just in his head) with both the other girls in their group.

But haven't we seen Ted in flash forwards when he's older than he is in this flash forward -for example his, Marshall's and Lilly's college reunion?
One might even say "brofound".
My biggest problem with this episode was who takes wedding photos *before* the wedding? All the hoopla about not seeing the bride in her dress before the wedding and what-not, most photos are taken after the ceremony.
I'd disagree with the use of the word "damaged". They might both be socially awkward, Sheldon probably has Aspergers, and neither of them have a lot of dating relationship experience, but I'd say that makes them more innocent/inexperienced than damaged.
I see their relationship very differently (perhaps as a parent of a teenager with Aspergers, which though they haven't come right out and said Sheldon has, anyone who's familiar with it can see in Sheldon).
Emotionally abusive? She's in love with a man who is socially impaired and knew from day one that he's not warm, cuddly or easy to get along with - he made her sign a girlfriend agreement that spelled everything out in detail, for Skinny Pete's sake. She could have broken it off at any time.
I love that after they share their first kiss, Sheldon asks Amy to come into his train world with him, and she says yes. They might be moving at a snails pace together, but in some ways they have the best relationship of all those in their group. They respect each other, they try to be considerate of each other…
I'd give this one an "A" just for the kiss. Yes, it started as Sheldon being jerky, but you can tell the exact moment it changes for him and turns into something else. Jim Parsons delivered in subtle body movements that said what Sheldon never would be able to express in words and we got what must be the most…
That means that Lily told Marshall that they would stay in NY, making it look like she's doing the grown up thing and sacrificing her big dream job when she knows that she has something great waiting for her in NY now, too. Yeah, that sounds about like Lily.
And we all know how great relationships turn out when one person "fixes" another, right? O.o
Exactly!!
I definitely agree that's the ending we'll get.
I agree. I just wish that we were able to spend more time getting to *see* the happy ending. Maybe that would make me believe in it more.
I get that she doesn't feel that way (though she's sent him plenty of mixed signals and long, meaningful looks through the years for someone who doesn't care).
I love this show and have stuck through it, even through some truly awful episodes. Today I finally realized that I just hate that Ted is not going to be with Robin.
Fabulous episode! Love, love, loved it. If only every episode this season had even been half as good.
They went to live with Robin's aunt and her lover, who live on a farm after Ted learned that they had all been gifts from ex-lovers.
I think this episode provided me with my first HIMYM laugh of the season. Please let the rest of the episodes be at least this good.
I could not stop parallels in this episode with The Breakfast Club, lol. The Criminal (Jay and his flask), The Princess (Gloria, fighting for popularity with the teacher, The Dork (Phil, getting to be nerd-cool for Jay), The Jock (Cameron) and the Misfit (Claire trying to fit in with all the smarty parents). They…
