Ornery Duck Is Always The Answer

I know it may be awkwardly placed under the S-class but I prefer everything about this to the S-class. A lot of that has to do with actual design going into the interior instead of gluing a Mercedes-Benze arrow on top of a plank of an expensive veneer and calling it done.

Every aspect of the SkyActiv integration in the MX-5 is widely publicized, including SkyActiv-MT, the manual gearbox. The only element curiously absent from any material is SkyActiv-AT, because it isn’t a part of the car. Sad because it is an impressive divergance from the traditional automatic gearbox. I can only

I love how the Orlando map cover is basically Disney (EPCOT area to be specific).

The G8 GT’s will certianly appreciate in value, however the GXP’s still trade at new-near prices and will likely appreciate into the future. The GT was also NOT available with a manual, just a nice 6SPD auto. For the row-your-own, you had to get a GXP, and pay dearly for the privilege.

Never the less, 360bhp, a great

This makes way more sense to me than the M5. *shrug*

It took several months to find my car, specifically because I was trying to avoid the ugly nav system. My friends still think I’m nuts, that said I’m the only one that considers design over performance or features. *shrug*

So as environmentalists that acknowledge their car is potentially bad for the environment, they decided to take it a cross-country roadtrip, to make a statement?

I don’t disagree with their intentions, by most accounts they are right. VW screwed the pooch, no matter how minor the deceit may have been and thus should

This is a perfectly reasonable response. Mainly because of the stock wheels, PRHT, and most-importantly, the automatic transmission.

Yea, that is a pretty fantastic photo; very flattering to the 3 hatch.

This is a good suggestion because it is a GOOD car that rocks good design and engineering without alienating normal people.

One of the girls at my work has hated every car she owned, and let’s be honest, one was a PT Cruiser, until she bought a second hand Mazda 3. She loves the shit out of it and can’t wait to get a

That guy? That’s you. Bravo.

Shut up Doug!

It is interesting how everyone is buying the shell game and focusing on consumer use of compact and mid-size cars as the main benefit to fuel economy restrictions and autonomy. The real societal benefit will come with large trucks and freight are held to stringant standards or autonomous systems can work to make a

I am pleased with Mazda’s approach toward lightness and feeling in contrast to other makers. They are a lot like the Lotus of old, only with solid reliability. That said, it’d be nice to see them compete with the likes of Subaru and Audi since their products are certainly

Yea, that makes sense but is still odd. It is interesting because the CX-3 looks better to me than the normal 2 does. It may just be the headlamps though something feels better about the proportions.

Edit: Huzzah! My reply took your post out of the gray.

Iknow what you mean. For me the twins interior materials fall short and the overall dashboard design is chunky and disjointed. Those two add together to make the whole interior feel lackluster, even though the shifter, steering, and gauges are exactly what they need to be. The seats are okay overall, holding well

I love the Honda N cars. It is like a Fiat 500 but with Japanese flair. The mini-truck idea is adorable and would be a fun daily driver. Why are Honda’s other products so uninspiring (Current Civic and Accord) when they have consistantly made something as wonderful as the N-family for several years?

Yes, yes, YES! The first time I saw the CX-3 was built on the 2 I was shocked at the confusion generated in naming. The way their cars line up, it would be easy to clearly mark the models

Mazda 2
CX-2
Mazda 3
Mazdaspeed 3 (I can dream damnit!)
CX-3
CX-5
Mazda 6
CX-6
CX-9
MX-5 (Existing Halo)
RX-7/8/9/Something (More dreaming!)

Maybe — this one shares development/manufacturing costs with the 6, as the CX-3 does the 2, and the CX-5 does the 3. While closely-related models may steal sales from eachother, those sales are still better in Mazdas hands than a competitor and at minimal cost compared to a unique model in the lineup. I like it — the
