Engine swapped but no pictures of it, just a bunch of angles on how slammed the car is? No thanks, keep the crack pipe sir!

Just went back and re-read the first article and now I understand; it was your first XJ. No further argument regarding your decision.

Why the hell aren’t you keeping that lovely 96’ XJ? A solid XJ as daily transport is a GOOD thing, especially when you’ve got an older Jeep to wrench on. Maybe I’m missing something but what does the 92’ XJ offer besides potential headaches? I get the boost in money that may come from it, I just don’t think it will be

Seems the tire iron is the real killer from these reports.

It is an SR20, maybe two of them! He clearly persuaded Ted to hand over the Nissan engines in advance of Race Wars.

Too soon junior.

As much as I love this idea, the RB26 Mustang for Tokyo Drift is awesome and I’d happily drive that thing ANYWHERE!

As an added note, Scott Strope of Pure Vision, who was responsible for many Fast & Furious cars, created his own Indy-powered Mustang off the earlier small Mustang body:

While there are some great Mustang suggestions involving a 2JZ and an RB26, the latter of which I love, a 67’ fastback really deserves American batshit-crazy under the hood. How about a Ford Indy car V8?

As cool as this would be I wouldn’t call it easy, even as someone who has partaken in the joys of engine swaps a few times before.

That looks like a 944 fucked an R31 Skyline... And I mean that in the most-flattering way possible.

LOL, I guess I learned two things, since I originally spelled her name wrong. :/

Well, today I learned something.

Somewhere out there, on the Internet, is a weary $kycog, feverously seeking a picture of a moderately-attractive female standing near a second-generation Nissan Rogue. I fear we may have lost him forever!

They are different cars, as clear by the price, styling, and powertrain options. I happen to like the whole lot but since BMW lost me with the new 3/4-series styling. The new Mustang and Camaro are great looking cars and offer solid drivetrain options across the board at obtainable price points. Depending upon what

I’m not your bro, buddy! (that is a joke, friend)

The 328i is a solid choice. They are still quick and are ‘low maintenance’ by all accounts.

I don’t care how mediocre that Opel is; that is one nice looking station wagon.

Lookout for Negative Nancy over here. Fuck if you are so afraid of maintenance, go buy a Toyota Camry and bore yourself to an early grave.

Drove an S4 for a bit with the 4.2L, loved the crap out of it, despite the 15MPG. Still consider this a great car with a nice interior, fantastic engine, and good, reserved looks

At the time I disliked those wheels and that color but I can’t help but look at this photo and feel that they all work together so-very well to make for a tidy GT.

So many nice SN95’s being posted. If I could afford to own several cars, a 98’ Cobra and a later 04’ Mach 1 would definitely be high on the list. The GT’s are still good fun and I’ve had a long admiration for the New Edge 01’ Bullitt and its Dark Highland Green color.
