On a serious note, I have to agree with the populous that Phoenix Yellow is a terrible color that somehow works on the E46. There are too many other great color options on that car to ever consider that yellow. Austin Yellow seeks to make amends and does so brilliantly on the M4 only. That horrid BMW CSL concept as a…
That is a wonderful color and you indeed chose wisely. I was admiring an ST at the light this morning in that very same shade. Suites the Focus beautifully.
I have to disagree, purple was a loving adornment of the 90’s that while rare, served the E36, S13, and this Probe well.
I liked the 2010 Mustang in Sunset Gold! That said, I also liked the 2005 Mustang in Legend Lime. :/
What if the owner just says, ‘No.’? Do you think it could go so far as states not allowng them to renew registration without proof of amendment to their VW?
Fair point. I’m curious just how far the EPA could go to enforce owners to make their cars compliant, especially in states that do not perform emissions testing.
No nyuk necessary; these are still great cars, just at a better price than they were a month ago.
Exactly! I’m excited at the prospect of a cheap Golf Sportwagon as a family truckster.

The clear difference here is that the motorcyclist did two things wrong; operated a motor vehicle without a valid license and passed on a double-yellow line. Both of these are wrong by the law but neither put a human life in immediate danger by those actions alone.
He had a license but for one reason or another it is…
BMW still (barely) makes I6 cars to meet such satisfaction. While I’d love a Mazda-derived inline 6, it just doesn’t jive with their ethos. They are about low weight, balancing that weight, and emphasizing fun at reasonable speed. An I6 could work but makes the job of packaging it very difficult, especially in respect…
Mazda has made cars with 50/50 weight distribution for over 25 years, usually keeping them under 3,000lbs along the way. No way they could compare in respect to impact, luxury, or the brute force of the AMG range, but they do offer manuals and have always maintained a focus on fun.
As a massive fan of the overall drive and culture of Mazda, I am excited for this and more-so their overall success. They’re showing that cars don’t have to sacrifice good design or driving dynamics to be affordable or efficient. The fact that Toyota and Fiat-Chrysler are licensing their engineering speaks volumes for…
God dammit I hope I can get to Leguna Seca and Lime Rock at least once in my life before they are permanently ruined by the NIMBY-toads. I’m thankful that Sebring is so-well embraced in Florida; the neighbors to the track seem appreciative for perpetuating their local economy.
That isn’t that bad for an un-restored, 35 year old, Northern car, it is all surface corrosion, no rust-through. Also keep in mind that the entire body is stainless steel and the chassis itself is a fiberglass reinforced plastic with only the X-frame being made of steel.
This would have been a nice price ten years ago…
