As someone who has to live under our current administration AND someone who voted for Warren, I don’t give a fuck what her motives are for speaking out. Is she speaking for women? YES. Is she speaking for black women? YES. Is she speaking for the people who elected her? YES. Is she promoting something that will make

AAAAARRRRGHHHHHH I still can’t believe this whole BS thing happened. I just ordered a bunch of these and am giving them to all of my nieces (pre-teens/early teens) and friends and then go kick political ASS I AM SO MAD! (It’s been kinda fun riling everyone up, I must admit.)

Can you imagine the uproar if white people were enslaved for hundreds of years, and after having been freed were still denied basic rights for another century, and then were denied the tools that would allow them to better their overall circumstance like decent education and access to housing and banking, and then

The Atlanta attack was particularly sad because of the death of John Miller, a former New York publicist.. Miller had been one of the lucky few to escape the site of the attack in Bowling Green when he was able to outrun the bombs and take protective cover next to local man Fred Douglass’ glorious wall. That he was

Yes it was cancelled after one season. It’s on Netflix. I have been telling everyone I know to watch it. I’m on my second watch and it holds up.

Rob Lowe can be a bit of a db at times, but if you have Netflix and haven’t seen The Grinder, I cannot recommend it enough. It lampoons the type of actor Rob comes off as, shallow, pretentious pretty boy. I hadn’t laughed that hard at a comedy since Arrested Development. For the life of me I don’t know why Fox

I dont know about your area but down here in Texas it gets plenty hot and there aint anything more refershing on a hot summer day than an ice cold butt plug.

Given how many tears this puke shed publicly I think we’re better off letting him wallow in it for the next 40-50 years.

So cute! I’m loving these critter pics.

Don’t understand so much happy whilst wearing a tie, but...lovin’ it.

That’s what I’m most upset about right now in a sea of terrible things. I am FURIOUS that their fucking temper tantrum over the supreme court nominee and all that “lame duck” bullshit actually paid off.

Everyone thought Hillary would win so it wasn’t worth fighting over. It was a bad bet.

I think it was because we were worried we’d distract from the election at best, and motivate Republicans to turn out at worst - although we did put up a moderate fuss for a couple of months.

He and almost everyone else was pretty sure Hillary would get the presidency.

I love that! In Seattle I was marching near a girl, probably about the same age, who was also leading the chants. Her voice was SO loud and full of a force most adults couldn’t muster. She had this wild mane of curls and just projected the fiercest spirit. There were many things that gave me hope yesterday but I she

And when Jimmy couldn’t pull himself up by his bootstraps-because his father taught his mother a lesson very hard with his fists while she was pregnant and that left Jimmy paralyzed- we just hid him in the closet so he’d know how shameful it was that the family had him.

I’m glad they are finally defunding Sesame Street. Kids today are too used to being given everything. In my day, if we wanted to watch puppets count to ten, we had to go and farm our own sheep, shear them ourselves, make wool, knit socks with needles we had whittled from trees we grew ourselves, stick our hands in the

“Maybe it means incensed *by*? But still that correction makes it weird.”

I think it’s technically correct (zero relative pronoun?) but it’s definitely awkward to my ear. Would be clearer as “incensed that,” IMO.

Exactly! I have always felt a huge disconnect from that song and wished that another, less aggressive and more peaceful song could be our anthem. But today it struck a chord. We need to brace ourselves for battle.
