I think it does have something to do with religion, but also when you live in such impoverished and violent conditions, you begin to have low expectations of the value of life.

I have to agree with you here. Sweden has been under reporting assault by migrants because they don’t want to create racial tension. There has been an increasing problem at swimming pools in Sweden with migrants assaulting women and girls.
