@GTRbrian: They know what they signed up for.

"There are many checkpoints so you're back to the point where you got disconnected in no time."

@cat. bus. - Die bad robots! Die!: Oh, I get that. But doesn't that just make it worse? The xenophobia? I guess the fact that they're saying "this isn't a normal thing in Japan" makes the point they want. But as an outsider, it sort of took me off guard.

Someone told me the other day to check out short track relay. I finally got to watch some last night. It's freakin' crazy awesome.

Eh, at least it'll get kids to read the books, yeah? That's something.

I'm sorry. Did you say that the dog is the father, but the ~black son~ is the "unforeseen" element? And it's not insulting or racist or disturbing in the slightest? I guess that's the joke? It's not very funny....

@evanset6001: He was pretty amazing. He even messed up the speed on his final jump and still pulled off the entire trick, and stuck the landing. The air he got on some of his jumps was totally insane.

It's too bad she's just really not that funny.

After a few days of nonstop Dynasty Warriors, I started seeing the game whenever I closed my eyes, like it was burned into them. That's probably the closest I've come to a headache that wasn't simply induced by pure aggravation.

No invite here :(

@TheTonyShow: I think it's usually done to avoid unnecessary contamination.

No. 6 is totally cute. Want that one, please.

Here's the esquire article on one page - it's really some beautiful writing.

HELL YES IBUKI

I guess people will keep asking the poor guys until someone says "Yes." I can't even count the number of articles or interviews or whatever I've seen or read where this was asked and they said "no." I'd be sick of answering that question by now, so props for his politeness and enthusiasm.

@ClaudioIphigenia: Ditto. Really looking forward to that one. Also Resonance of Fate, the alternative to FFXIII.

I have an HDTV, and the Mass Effect 2 text is still crazy tiny and hard to read. My husband was playing the first one this weekend, and I realized the difference. ME1 text was much easier to read. I guess they wanted it to be unobtrusive or whatever, but it is kind of ridiculous. I can't imagine how bad it must be

@Odin: Thank you. Those are my thoughts, too.

@kosikutioner: You're listening to different news than I was then, because all I heard was how coaches and competitors and whoever else involved were talking about how dangerous and fast the track was. Before the accident. So, some of them WERE concerned. And several of them crashed during practice runs as well.
