Tiger said he was stepping down from golf for a bit too, didn't he? With him out of the picture, someone else will claim his position. Then they'll have someone new to hype.

@Chester Coat Sleaves: Well, technically, if you have a DVR you don't have to watch the commercials. Fast forwarding through commercials is almost the equivalent of having an ad blocker on your browser. But you'll still get commercials with streaming video services (unless you pay premiums).

@Tyrsis: Uh, well, he didn't do the music for X-2 or 12. And he had help on 10. So this isn't new or anything.

@Chester Coat Sleaves: There are ads all over the Internet too, and you still pay for that. You're paying for a company to provide you with a service. I assume they get local ad revenue, but networks get everything else. Though I guess you could argue that the companies that own the networks and provide you with

If I had my PC set to feed to my TV, maybe. Because I hate sitting at my computer to watch things. But we also have a kid here every other weekend, and so we really do need the cable for him. Plus the hubbie likes to skip around channels at night while he eats dinner.

@selderane: I think we understand the idea. But the plain fact is that it's dishonest. Some people (though I'm sure they're rare) care more about that.

Paint over it? Skin it? There are ways to solve this problem.

Four is a joke, right? Some girls might find that charming, I guess. If you wanted to meet her so badly that you created some fake situation like that. To me, that reads as desperate, and immature.

LOL at the girls picking totally fictional characters to pit against each other. Go female power.

I've heard about this before, and I think it's a great idea. But my group of gamers is pretty much consistently broke. And paying for the source books and crap like that is expensive enough.

@mythus: It's in one of their official trailers.

@maverickuw: Um, no. No Doubt agreed to be used in the game, but thought (or maybe really did) they signed up to have their likeness sing ONLY their songs. So they sued. Now Activision is suing for breach of contract.

@GoonerVance: Well, my mother worked that way; she created a huge amount of credit card debt that my father nearly left her for.

@Techno-Atom: There's also the fact that the characters are written by real people, and animated by real people. So why can't an animator inject their emotions into a character the way a physical actor can on screen?

That's what regular people refer to as "cheating." Seriously, it means jack shit if you didn't work hard for it on your own and really earn it.

@kurdijef: Oh, that's gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.

That was pretty impressive.

@TrilbyLilja: Well, that's what they WERE so.... Yay historical accuracy?
