As with all things starring Eva Fucking Green, I will be front and center on opening day, because Eva Fucking Green.
The play starred Atkins and Vanessa Redgrave. My boss snuck out of the office to catch the Wednesday matinee. When I asked how the show was, she said that Vanessa Redgrave, recognized as one of theater’s greatest actors, stepped onstage, got three words out and a woman in the third row yelled, “I can’t hear you!”
Is that dress ball dress inspirised by Dashcon?

My brother in law has been nominated and he and his wife attended 3 times. His category is usually up at 4 pm and yes, they get glam early. The big ticket people like Beyonce don’t show up early. We usually watch for them online.
Same. I had a love-or-hate response to her characters on SNL. I think Kristin’s film work has been far better and funnier. She shines when she plays more straightforward comedy, instead of relying on the super-weird, manic stuff. I remember, before Bridesmaids and her other movies and before I even knew who she was,…

She was a gifted pioneer in computer science, being instrumental to the creation of COBOL, one of the very first high level programming languages. Without her, we basically…
The first two seasons of The OC are, indeed, glorious. Actually, I liked most of the 4th season, too, aside from one piece of ridiculousness I won’t spoil for you here.
So true. The cast from about 2001 to 2007 was freaking iconic. (I also have to throw Maya Rudolph in there because I always loved her impressions) I do like Kristin but I’m more of a fan of her outside of SNL, like in Bridesmaids.
They also have a stronger cast than they had during the last few years. The Dubya years had Will Ferrell, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Seth Meyers. They now have Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Kristin Wiig was really the only bright spot of the Obama years, and I’m actually not a big fan of hers.
It’s almost as if when SNL has a President and administration that they can mock, they are on top of their game. They were so great during W’s years and then started nosediving during the Obama years, because they had nobody to make fun of really, and now they are on their A-game because of the surreal levels of awful…
