This worked like a dream for me a few months back when I installed UBUNTU on a spare USB 120gb HDD. I couldn't boot the windows box unless UBUNTU was connected to the USB port.

anything like this for MCE 2005 ?

p.s. - please bring back the comment preview feature

@turbotape: Annoying to you, but provides some sort of piece of mind to the artist.

I remember reading about his ages ago and wanting one ever since seeing it on Stewart Butterfield's flickr stream.

FYI:

It should also be noted that I was once a victim of ID theft (to a large degree) and was coached by my bank to follow this protocol.

"REFER TO IDENTIFICATION CARD"

*67 does not work on Cingular/ATT

good golly I hope they allow us the ability to turn threaded messages to the OFF position.

These are super cheap things. Especially as a dog toy.

One thing to note when joining the Nikon DLC on Flickr -

at work, email sigs are not used because our email client (Lotus Notes) displays your company phone number and city near your name. easy, peasy.

Some IVRs are voice activated. To bypass that, I typically, block the microphone on the phone and don't touch any numbers on the keypad.

this is a nice DIY. I personally don't like my earbud cord to have a perma-kink in though..

One of my flickr contacts has been doing this for nary 2 years - not real new stuff...

Lotus Notes has this feature for ... 5 years?

I work normal hours and when I need to avoid distractions, I remove myself from the "veal cubes" [to quote a friend] and book a conference room for myself.
