It’s easy to forget a particular time you used a word when you use it all the damn time.  For example, I can’t remember the last time I said damn.

To be a Republican in America today, you have to be able to believe two contradictory things at the same time.  Those who do not have that skill, even if they call themselves conservatives, or libertarians, prove themselves by their lack of that skill to be the most awful of creatures - Democrats.

“Race baiting” is one of those phrases that lets you know the person who said it doesn’t having anything worthwhile to say - like “SJW” or “too PC.”  It’s the verbal equivalent of a confederate flag.

Uncomfortable admission: I was briefly fooled by O’Keefe’s original video ‘showing’ ACORN people doing bad things. Then I saw more of O’Keefe’s own video - not the eventually released stuff that he edited out, just the longer version of what he thought was convincing - and realized he was full of shit. And his attack

I’ve said before (maybe even on one of these sites, I can’t remember) that Green Book will win because its a movie that allows white people to feel good about racism (because at least they’re not like the bad people in that film).  To add to that, it can’t be anything else (unless the Academy really has changed)

Do you not remember what that grade means? A B essentially means “good work, but you could have done better.” Nitpicking aside, these reviews basically say “It’s a good show, but it would have been better if they’d done these things the way I liked instead.”  That sounds like a B to me.

There appears to be a surprisingly large number of white men with way too much time on their hands, who flock to any attempt to call out even the smallest examples of racism or sexism in our society. Their whole purpose appears to be to insist that 1. whatever you are talking about isn’t racist/sexist, 2. you’re

White people. We will do literally anything it takes (including changing the boundaries of a town or country) to not live near people who aren’t white and not have to deal with people who aren’t like us actually running things. I almost think the only reason so many of us are upset at our immigration laws is that they

Yes, the double standard. When Republicans act racist, Democrats call for their resignation. When Republicans are accused of sexual assault/harassment, Democrats call for their resignation. And when Democrats commit those same offenses, Democrats . . . call for their resignation.

The thing is, it’s not a gaffe. That’s what she, and the rest of the Turning Point crowd, actually believe - and they think they’re winning the argument. Considering that they got their choice in the White House right now, they might be convincing more people than we’d like.

I would gladly pay triple for gasoline, licence plates, and my driver’s license to keep driving my own gas powered car with a manual transmission, if it meant most of the idiots we share the road with were in self-driving electrics instead to save themselves the expense.

I can’t help but laugh at how sad and unprofessional that racist caption is.  If they’re going to try to make you the bigot for yelling at idiots waving the flag of surrendering traitors, the least they could do is get your name right.

On Buzz Aldrin’s tie - I thought it had been made clear that only black people can disrespect the flag. Did we forget to send you that memo?

Apparently, your American ancestry only counts if your ancestors were the ones stealing the land. If your entire island was taken as a prize of war, you didn’t really become Americans. (See also: lived here for thousands of years before we took their homes and dragged here against their will and traded as property.)

They were too busy complaining that he’d turned his back on his slave-owner heritage by calling for the removal of Confederate monuments.

    Challenger SRT Hellcat RedEye?

If I brought someone to live in my home and they complained about it all the time.”

How much money would you bet that those defending the Ricketts here in the comments have, elsewhere (some of them under different names) been outraged at George Soros spending his money on political causes. This secretive influence peddling, this creation of bs political action committees and foundations to hide their

As a recovering Republican, I find myself having that same experience from the other side. “I agree with Jennifer Granholm? How the hell did that happen.”  And it’s happening with increasing frequency.

You’re right - I was looking at the wrong symbol.
