I was amazed by Lytro for a second, just before I realized it sucked... Small lens = less light, big lens = lot of light. Good pictures need light, it's that simple, if you don't have that you can have all the focus points in the world, the pictures will still suck. Physics damn you physics...

It's really sad and petty of Apple to engage in lawsuits like this. It shows that they have run out of ideas to beat the competition. Progress inevitable, you can't just hold it back, and say I have dibbs on all things rectangular and with a touchscreen. This is ridiculous.

We really need better patent laws! This is an other great example. This is so vague, that anything could fit into it. It really is mind boggling how these patents can go through the system without anyone saying: "Hey wait a minute, is this a real product, or are you just planning ahead to sue someone in the future?"
