I won’t disagree with that. I think the hard thing with D1's loot is that it was all 100% luck based, so you couldn’t intentionally chase anything you just had to spam the shit out of dungeons/raids/hope that weekly dude had it.

I don’t know enough about Anthem’s loot to comment because I’m only level 15 right now. 

But Destiny had that too right? I mean, the base gameplay in Destiny was always fantastic, the problem is the story was crap, the stores were crap, the weapons were mostly crap, the leveling process was crap, the expansions were crap with one exception per year per game, and they refused to learn from their lessons.
