I remember getting my now long gone ‘96 4runner to 180kph, twice. The second time, though, the throttle cut out for no reason. Got it out of gear, slowed down, back in gear and everything was normal. I still wonder what caused that. It was the 4 cyl, mind you. I still miss it.
