Poor woman, hope she’ll find a more supporting employer in the future. (I don’t think Nintendo is entirely wrong here. It’s just in their legitimate interest to protect the company image. Whether firing her was a good move for their image is up for debate.)

Is it possible that you could drop a few sentences what you think of the p2w mechanics of the game and generally, why you support these business practices when you publish your game review of tree of savior?

Great article! (And one more reason why I hope for the US that they don’t elect Drumpf for president)

It’s a great anime if you like your anime a bit gory.

This “Notsnufffie” that the article quotes seems to be a really whiny and demanding person. Entitled, arrogant people these days.

And I think it’s fair to say that the marketing for this game was nonexisting (except for let’s plays if you want to count that as marketing). And there would have been great places to advocate this game with that unique topic.

@Nathan Grayson: The game is not called “Slain” but “Slain!”. It’s because of journalistic accuracy that we also don’t write about “Final Fantasy Fifteen” or F4ll0ut Four or “Windows 2016 OS”... you get the picture :P C’mon, care a little bit about your job man.

That’s a bit harsh but yeah, he had such a beautiful beard. A necromancer beard. Or rather a Snackomancer beard. I hope we’ll get used to the beard-less version. It’s just that I like my Faheys and my Geralts with a good beard.

yeah gawker is not good but that’s why you still come here. because you are a bad person. Nobody else they would accept a person with a ferret-face like yours.

The Drumpf controller...

And man, the Hearts of Stone expansion is really, really good! Gaunter O’Dimm and Vlodimir and Olgierd von Everec were remarkable characters!

You should ask the Kotaku folks who live in Japan (I think there were a few, right?). I suspect japanese companies often have a very passive communication culture where problems or changes (because change is making people uncomfortable) are swept under the rug.

Knights of the Round and Bahamut Zero are on the list. Riot prevented!

wha-whaaat?

Could you atleast show us the level or a video where the host tries to win? Again lacking all the interesting information bits :/

As long as “There’s Poop in My Soup” will never, ever be the title of a Snacktaku episode, i’m fine with that.

A second before I noticed that those pictures are taken by different people, I imagined Brian Ashcraft standing in front of those poor mascots photographing the hell out of their misery with a delightful grin on his face.

I’ve been itching to try overwatch but I will not go for the pre-order. Looking forward to hear from Kotaku if the game is worth the high price.

This move is for the best. The great talent of the various people who worked there will be better spent elsewhere.

That’s a fat fox right there.
