But that’s exactly it. The portable thing. What’s hard to understand about that? Being able to play wherever, and then if you want, put it in your dock and play on your tv when you’re home. Not hard to comprehend why some people would prefer the Switch for that reason. That’s a major advantage. Not everyone cares…
Portable is a huge benefit yea.
Personally, I play it on my lunch breaks. I get an hour for lunch and rather than sit around for 45min once I’m done eating, I can chill out and play games for a bit.
That’s extra game time I didn’t have before.
The other thing I can thing of would be the joycons(objectively I know)…
Yeah, for me at least it’s absolutely the portability and flexibility; not just the ability to take it places, but to use it while something else is on the screen, or just because handheld gaming is more comfortable. Far as I’m concerned, the versions lacking portability are the infertile versions — graphics are nice…
It’s not just this game, I want EVERYTHING on Switch because it is so awesome.
I like creating icons for my Steam games and display them like this:
As a software developer focused primarily on UI, I absolutely love it. I think it should be something that Nintendo should go as far as enforcing the consistency. It goes a long way.
A lot of users get enjoyment out of having an aesthetically pleasing home screen, I don’t see why that’s ‘pathetic’.
The same reason people purchase/install custom themes for software and apps, or buy stylish cases and covers for their hardware. All about having something nice to look at in a product you spend a lot of…
It’s not. For some people (like me) it’s important, well organized and good looking icons. And there’s a simple thing, if I don’t like something I just simple not buy it. People are actually helping this developers to sell more copies by making good design. I know that some people doesn’t even care what shit to drive…
It’s been on home consoles since the ps2 so not sure what you mean by “...is on home consoles...”
Agreed! It really sucks when someone likes something you don’t!
Having just purchased a Nintendo Switch, I would now disagree with that statement (although in the past I was all for Nintendo going third-party). Their hardware isn’t spec-impressive, but as a functional whole it does enhance the player experience. I love the fact that I can play Zelda at home, then un-dock it and…
The fact that you think anything I said is an attack is exactly the problem. You wrote that whole comment and I don’t even know if you meant to reply to me at this point.
Welp, this is gonna be a fun commment’s section.
Sheesh. This could have been so much worse. Not saying they are correct, just saying if he’s an asshole he’s at least a thoughtful one.
1.- Playable Inkling kids are at least 14.
You can create female avatars.....as pictured in the article you just read I assume. :p
Preteen girls with DD breasts.
