Because we usually refer to the latest game in headlines where we’re short on characters. When we mean an older game, we clarify in the title itself/include something to signal an older game (in this case, “Melee”).

Things like this are always cool, however there comes a point where I wonder if these huge time sinks with little return could be better spent helping humanity progress. Or something.

Not a fan of the 8/16 bit graphic style, nor the whole animal-humanoids for every character motif. Not a bad starting point to build off of, but aside from a cost factor, why play a very dumbed down version of Smash when you could just play Smash?

This is the first old-school-game-now-unreal4 that seems to work, as far as I can tell. The last few came off as a bit souless, lacking the charm that made Ocarina such a great game to begin with.
