that's a shame. i hope you feel much more welcome here! i personally appreciate a great rebuttal — especially an accurate one! — and that's precisely what we want round these parts. good argumentation and criticism can only help a writer, and if a reporter's, like, wrong, it doesn't help their stance to dismiss people

Your whole position just makes no sense. You say these runs don't count, but count to whom? They aren't comparing these times with non-glitch runs. There are a lot of different categories and types of speed runs. You asked why people like these and several answered. No one says you have to like these so I'm not

It takes skill and practice to pull off glitches. It takes skill and practice to master character's moves to make the run that efficient.

The treatment of these tiny studios underneath major publishers is abhorrent. Workers being given crazy hours and no overtime pay, bonuses being withheld, and studios being shut down even after successful products are shipped. The entire industry seems highly Unethical. If ONLY there existed a group whose main

But this also isn't a legit way to beat Super Mario 64.

I was gonna say "inb4 bitching about speedruns" but it was literally the first comment.
Kotaku commenters are so predictably awful.

And every single gen it just gets better and better.

You have been missing... A lot. Ask a PSP player about "The Claw". Ask a Wii player how 'fun' it was without a classic controller (Ideally pro, but the classic controller worked too)...

My first time was MH on PS2. I never got outta story mode. I never even got past chapter 1. I got to some egg quest where I needed to

now imagine a person standing here holding a sifter waiting for a diamond to pop out. This is what trying to find a good mobile game is like.

A lot of people read an article or two about potential exploits with an Android and then decided it was a blanket situation...

Asked a GM if I can have 7 days free, played for an hour, went back to FFXIV. This is just another idiotic casual feature implemented.

All "fan re-makes" are copyright violations, and publishers really need to start putting their feet down and quashing these projects early on, lest the situation get even more out of control than it is now.

>well your first problem is that you bought most of your games digitally. don't do that, it's an extremely dumb decision.

As someone who has beat mine up and carried it in my pocket with me everywhere I go for the better part of a year (plus like 300+ hours of monster hunter 3U alone) I have to say the hinges still don't even show the slightest sign of wear, and everything works fine with it.

If you're dumb enough to bust the hinges on any 3DS, don't buy one. Ever. My 5 year old has been using mine for over a year and he has managed to keep it in tact.

Stop treating your handhelds like a damn caveman.

"don't buy digital games"
lol

"never buy the XL"

Okay, yeah I'm done reading or listening to anything you have to say.

Ever since the XL has been a thing I've exclusively went that route. The lower pixel density has never been a deal breaker to me as it's barely noticeable to me. And I've never once had hinge issues with any model DS past or present (what are people doing with their DSs?). Not saying these might be issues for some
