It is definitely a great year for RPG’s. The year started strong with Persona 5, and now I’m 127 hours into Xenoblade 2, which is probably going to end up as my favorite JRPG of all time.

Gears of War 4? Or does that not count as well? A lot of Microsoft’s games are being made with their new technologies. They aren’t going to purposely make a game worse for the very small subset of gamers who are anti-W10 for some reason.

I don’t think that the API’s used by Windows Store games are on anything under Windows 10. Besides, if you cared about PC gaming, you’d have Windows 10 either way. Don’t complain about things moving on.

Nah. I have a high-end gaming PC valued at about $2300, but I would rather play BoTW on my Switch. In terms of portable gaming, I don’t think anything has the Switch beat in terms of form factor and experience. As for lag, there is none... Source:

I’m probably getting the 3DS version. I like the art-style a lot more in it. In the pictures above, I prefer the way that the 3DS version looks.

To be fair, if you can’t handle toxicity, then many games aren’t for you. I’m not saying that toxicity is good, but I’m saying that it is the sad reality of many games. You don’t walk into a KKK meeting expecting to find no racism. Same applies, where you can’t play League of Legends or most MMO’s without expecting…

This is a very strong season from the perspective of someone who loves anime. Maybe you are the type who only enjoys shows popular in the west like AoT and SAO?

It doesn’t have much to do with how good the community is. I’ve seen lines in the opening weeks of many private WoW servers, even though those communities are toxic.

I am incredibly hyped for this. I loved this feature in Windows 8.

Obligatory will it have dual-audio question. Beyond that, I am curious as to what aspects of multiplayer from XCX from remain. I was thinking that with two joycons, the game could have Tales-like multiplayer where a friend can control one of the other characters in your party.
Also, will be there customizable outfits…

They said in the treehouse interview yesterday that the game would be like XC where it was focused on a linear story, as opposed to XCX which was focused on open-world exploration.

Definitely looks like a spinoff. The mechanics looked very weak compared to the main series.
