I do not disagree that Minecraft can be a medium of learning, however, I do argue that it is as efficient as books, computers, group activities, and actually speaking with other children face-to-face.

Working with kids in the flesh is what would translate to a workplace environment. Interacting with others in a game will do nothing, as evident by the entire culture of socially-awkward gamers, such as the majority of everyone on Kotaku.

Given my profession as a game developer, I would hardly consider myself an old man. I just understand better than most that it isn’t healthy for a kid to socialize with others in a video-game as compared to doing it in the flesh. We don’t want them to end up as neckbeards who leave ad hominem comments on Kotaku.

A sport like basketball is usually part of gym class, which is very important. I hope that I do not have to explain why.

You can more effectively get those skills with activities that don’t involve playing Minecraft. If anything, Minecraft is more likely to make a child socially awkward, lazy, unmotivated, and untalented.

Adobe

You definitely have the right to be pissed at Microsoft.

Why the animosity just because someone has had a different experience? You don’t have to be mean on the internet.

This is sad. The arab-spring was a success for Egypt(maybe not other countries), and it resulted in our first democratically-elected president. We had a moderate who was open with diplomatic talks with Israel, staying allied with the U.S., opening the borders up for refugees from Gaza, and not allying with Saudi

Us otaku aren’t stalkers. We generally prefer 2D women in games and anime over real-life 3D women.

I think that most of the people arguing in the comments here do not know of or understand the concept of a fujoshi, lol.

The cafe has nothing to do with any of that.

but they generally do more harm than good IMHO.

Yet Saitama would beat him in just one punch lol.

3 Euros? The tax alone on my phone bill is sadly more than that.

To be honest, I actually see mostly games that I’d play, as compared to the Call of Duties and Maddens of the West.

To each their own I guess. For me the Witcher 3 was boring and repetitive, while I’m about 140 hours into Xenoblade, without the game losing any of its luster.

As a game developer, I would disagree. Piracy has encouraged better practices when it comes to selling games, otherwise everything would be crap like Uplay.

After playing Xenoblade X, it’ll be tough for a while for another game’s world to feel big. Xenoblade Chronicles X’s map is bigger than Skyrim, Fallout 4, and The Witcher 3’s maps combined, and yet is full of thing to do, and extends upwards as well(floating islands, giant trees, mountains with caves, etc.).

Now playing

Xenoblade X has a couple of pretty great themes, including this song that plays when you face certain enemies in the field.
