Display is a major factor for tablets and laptops, and for phones if you ever watch videos. And the thing is that the display is a major marketing point, probably more than anything else, including the camera. Apple uses the term ‘retina’ which is has pumped billions of dollars into to convince the masses that

By your logic, Activision and EA don’t deserve to exist lol. And also, how are you even judging the amount of content a game has before it has even come out? As far as I know, reviews are out yet. Then again, it could have 300 hours of content and you’d still hate on Nintendo, just like a little kid who hates the Wii

When it comes to laptops and tablets, both the Galaxy Tablets and the Surface have better displays than the Macbook and iPad. When it comes to phones, LG, Sony, Samsung, and HTC usually have better displays as well. It is just that most people won’t ever know this because the Apple, and now Samsung, marketing machines

I’ll vote “Retina”. It is a marketing term that has millions of people convinced that their screens are the best, even if completely outclassed by competitors.

Apple has spent billions of dollars on marketing to get people to make the distinction. Until Apple goes away or changes their stance, this won’t change.

I am going to disagree with this time. As a software engineer who uses cloud computing and other cloud solutions, it is pretty much only your fault that you don’t understand it.

It honestly sounds like you haven’t played many games with mmo-type combat, or have never gotten far in one. They usually require more strategy than almost every other genre of gameplay. Try playing Xenoblade without strategy and you’ll die time and time again. Play an MMO without knowing how to play, and you’ll

You kind of shot yourself in the foot when you said you dislike ‘turn-based’ action but played 80 hours of Persona 4.

By making it worthless and not matter? Isn’t that a GOOD thing? Now I can wait for reviews to see whether or not I’ll buy the game and not feel pressured to preorder for a bonus. Seriously, this Nintendo hate is pretty old.

I am so confused. You are saying pre-order incentives are bad, but you are also saying Nintendo is bad for not doing them? It just sounds like people love to hate Nintendo, regardless of what they do.

But Monster Hunter isn’t an RPG. It is a real-time action game. RPG’s often have battle-systems that rely more on knowledge and strategy rather than skill and reflex. For that, numbers are the best way to go.

Again, the game isn’t turn-based. You don’t have to wait for your turn. You can freely attack at will. What you want is a button-mashing action game. RPG’s, strategy-games, RTS’s, and other games just aren’t for you then. Heck, you probably won’t even like something like Dark Souls or Monster Hunter because you can’t

And the problem is? Some people prefer anime looking characters. Heck, anime itself is loved by many Japanese and Americans.

You mean like every MMO and many RPG’s have had? Plus it isn’t turn-based.

I think it looks incredibly satisfying!

As a game developer, I’d like to remind everyone that this is not the norm. These are extreme cases with extremely bad employers and does not reflect the rest of the industry. Most probably are like myself with great coworkers and bosses.

but the solution can be arrived at with zero math whatsoever, through logical, conceptual thinking.

It has had 3 on 3 battles for a few years now. Although, the beauty about Pokemon is that it has nailed the 1v1 and 2v2 turn-based battle system so perfectly well.
