I'll give you the $15 a month thing, but no-go on the vendor thing. Atleast for the 5 years I've played Wow, vendors did not give out competitive gear between patches.

But that doesn't make your gear useless. You need the Tier 1 gear to have a chance at getting Tier 2. You can't buy Tier 1.5 gear from the vendors... Also, those patches are for FREE. For Destiny you have to pay money for the patches called DLC.

The thing is, WoW does that every 2 years, and the expansions were as large as entire new games(atleast until wrath). Destiny has only been out for 3 months. Those who play the game have the right to be pissed. They bought a $60 game and have had to shell out for end-game content multiple times within 3 months?!
