Rodcocker's bossness notwithstanding, when he's with Edwina, "he's not even fully present, 'cause he also be with other women in other dimensions." I'm Team Gilly because Poussey is, too, is what I'm trying to say.

The corporate takeover story is kind of a slow burn, but really compelling. The show's done a great job, I think, of showing how the system grinds down both the inmates and the low-paid, low-skill guards. It did that even before privatization, but with the takeover, it's even more forceful.

And more implied potential future handjobs!

I really like the Time Hump Chronicles plot (Team Gilly!), but it does seem to go out of its way now and then to take potshots at fandom and 'shippers and internet commenters and their incessant demands.

It was an all around great episode for Caputo:

I totally expected the Whispers storyline to be Piper going all Norma Rae, not all gangster. Her quest to capture the pervy panty market has potential, but I'm getting a distinct whiff (yeah, I went there) of Nancy Botwin 2.0: "I'm a pretty white lady who overestimates her criminal genius! I'm a great leader! Watch

Black Cindy: See, it used to be all these weirdoes sitting alone in their houses, jerking it to bugs or falling in love with their toasters, feeling all creepy and sad. Now, all they got to do is log on and find the same-minded toaster-loving peeps and, like, bam, suddenly shit be perfectly normal.

Any word on Generalissimo Franco?

Not at all. That's just how I took it. I assume a joking tone as a default, because otherwise the internet would hurt my feelings too much!

Ah. Right you are—I'd not have guessed. Ruby Rose Langenheim.

I question her choice of stage name. Ruby Rose. It's like it can't decide if it want to be crocheting doilies or doing a striptease.

It represents a case of the show seemingly reverse-engineering a flashback story to serve a larger interest.

The government socialists are clearly so far up your buttcrack about equality, when, in code, it’s all about just giving darker people free shit. It’s all about private corporation, because they really look after us.

But why make the joke at all?

The menstruation humor, I think, could have been worse.

Her flashback reminded me a bit of Morello's. Not poor, just working class and tortured by things that seem just out of reach.

Seven out of eleven tour dates are in Florida. Does this say something about the projected demographic of the average Python fan?

Flaca: When I wear that apron in the kitchen, I'm really wearing it ironically.

Underground gambling?
