I think one of the best things about comedies with kids but written from an adult perspective is that we can all collectively laugh at how overly-serious we realized high school was. It doesn't take long after graduation for those memories to make you cringe; that's why kid-focused shows are largely relegated to other

"Exactly like a 13-year-old who thinks they just solved the Isreal-Palestine conflict."

I love how both of them had a mutual uncomfortable understanding. It just made me think if this were Girls then one of characters would try to become friends with her and not be reasonably horrified.

Glee to vocal students is what Super Troopers is to pot heads. It might be sparingly enjoyable, but the cultish following around is fucking unbearable.

Modern CBS shows seem to defy the conventional rules of maintaining viewers.

Glee is progressive in a way a pro-active 8th grader is progressive. There's a bare understanding of righteousness with certain themes like race and gender, but no way of projecting without it seeming like it's all based off of a pamphlet or Facebook post. I've rarely seen a show try to tackle deep and important

I always had this creeping feeling that Glee was everything conservative America hated about progressive America, but in a way that was actually understandable.

The Big Bounce Cassandra Theory.

Just my opinion, but this is an A+ times 45. Or, five bags of popcorn and five bags of soda.

Seems to be earning decent praise in those circles.

Can someone explain to me the spiraling praise that this album is getting, aside for it being matter-of-fact decent piano pop? Seriously, at least to me, this is furiously un-engaging pop with cringey at-best subject substance. Start-to-finish comes out like one consistent liner note of hearty drabness.

This is Werner Herzog's Dinosaurs, yes?

I read "Thing" as "Sting" and assumed him and Wednesday are likely friends.

I can't get upset/disappointed with Oscar hosts and/or writers not being great. It seems like an impossible gig.

I really didn't like the BB pilot, but I felt mid-way through Season 1 it got me hooked. The "Going All The Way" skit where the kid brings his dad to prom is one of my favorite skits in recent memory.

I got my dad to like something I like! Thanks Last Man On Earth!

I think this is part of why the Oscars seem to matter the most out of the major awards (in my opinion). By and large, they tend to get a lot of things right, outside of the Best Animated Feature and Best Documentary category; both of which have the same feel that Best Rap and Best Metal Album(s) do at the Grammys.

My first girlfriend was/is a huge Yeah Yeah Yeahs fan, and so am I. That hasn't changed at all (I saw them again years after we split), but the song 'Hysteric' still bums me out because that was the ringtone on her old Motorola RAZR.

And Zach Braff's projects.

Which episode?
