While I played Madden without doing any of that nonsense.  It's pretty easy to not do that, too.

Too costly. Drivers now have more control over their likeness and usually individually. Developers would need to negotiate with each driver/manager individually.

Weird how it seems like most people play Madden so they can create their own player--usually NOT an actual NFL player---and win the Superbowl by defeating Tom Brady.

Also because Indycar can run faster for longer than an F1 car.  Same thing is probably true for NASCAR.  An F1 engine would blow trying to run 500 miles on am oval.
