Wait, I'd like to disagree about just "one notable boss" being unfair. The Capra Demon is fast, a complete unknown the first time you fight him, and backed by two dogs. You have to fight him in an area that does not have a lot of room to spare, pillars to your right that can easily impede your ability to dodge, and if

And yet they spent over two years making it. What the fuck happened?
Why is the lip syncing during the modern day sections noticeably worse than the historical sections?
Why is the lip syncing so terrible outside of cutscenes? The previous games' walk-and-talk sequences had adequate lip syncing, so why do they now have

It's all in the way you market it. Make a trailer that promises violence, excitement and intrigue, and you're good to go.

There are problems with setting it during the Revolutionary War, though. New York and Boston look exactly the same, and because we know so much about that era's big historical figures, they flit in and out of the narrative without creating much of an impression; they can't really be their own character, à la Leonardo

I knew a lot of people there with a similar story, who were just passing through and got caught up in the camaraderie and the local culture (and weighed down by the humidity). Some of them, unaccustomed to the relaxed pace, stretched out for a spell and suddenly realized that years of their lives had melted away.

C'mon, man. Engage in conversation, don't just insult him.

A.

I'm also partial to "Toby, did you just say you had sex to stop the war? An anti-war shag?"

If you're gonna watch The Thick of It, don't forget to watch In the Loop.

Hell, what about three?

Hell, what about three?

Rose was the second episode I watched after Blink. I was unimpressed, though to be fair, most episodes aren't going to stand up to Blink. The End of the World is what cemented my interest in the show; there's the willingness to take the story to crazy extremes (from modern day London to the destruction of the planet),

Don't forget the biggest one: the father of the Roman family in The Fires of Pompeii -> The Twelfth Doctor.

Then we could add her to the ever-growing list of actors who've been on both Game of Thrones and Doctor Who.

"Do I really give a fuck about the details of how Amy's life changed after S5? Let's not bog this shit down like season 4 of Fringe when we can do "The Doctor's Wife" instead. Why would you even ask that of Doctor Who?"

With possibly too much time on your hands.

When a new head writer appears, I really hope Moffatt continues to contribute to the show, like he did during the RTD days.

Moffatt for me. His lows are nowhere near as low as RTD, the show is more consistent across the board, and the best of his tenure (The Pandorica Opens, The Doctor's Wife, etc.) easily stand up to the best of the RTD era, which are mostly written by Moffatt as well.
More subjectively, Moffatt writes Doctor Who the way

This makes me wonder why you watch the show at all, if you haven't liked what it's been doing for eight years.

Yeah, that confuses me. Aren't the Naughty Dog Crash games considered some of the best games made for the original Playstation?
