You cannot be talking about Human Nature/Family of Blood. Those are some of the 10th Doctor's best episodes.

That's funny, @Evil Lincoln, because that was the same facial feature that tipped me off.

Personally, the one in Victory of the Daleks was more cringe-inducing.

Hopefully I'll be able to get over thinking of him as Brutus.

Craster, Jojen, Davos, Jorah, Viserys…am I missing any other Game of Thrones actors who've also appeared in Doctor Who?

I think I've spotted a troll.

Further salutations from another future watcher.

Isn't cutting yourself on the Throne taken as a sign that the person is unfit to rule? Can't entirely remember either.

Preferably old and vague in both amount and purpose.

The advice I've given is to watch the Moffatt-written episodes, Midnight, The Impossible Planet and Human Nature, then jump into Season 5.

Confession: After watching this episode, I downloaded the two episodes of Superman: TAS that had Livewire in them for the sole reason that I wanted to hear more of her voice.

@ dygitalninja
Reading your explanation was like reading my own thoughts. I completely agree with you.
Also, I have to ask - how do you guys put the names of the person you're replying to in those nice boxes? "@ dygitalninja" doesn't look nearly as good.

You really liked the Almost People, eh? I more or less liked it (far more than the Hungry Earth) and appreciated the slower pacing, but personally I think of it as an example of a two-parter that would have been better served by being 60 minutes long.

The idea of having Matt Smith as the Doctor for not one but two more seasons excites me.

@ dygitalninja - I miss them too. Look at how many of the best episodes of the New Who were two parters - The Empty Child, Human Nature, Silence in the Library, The Time of Angels, The Pandorica Opens, The Impossible Astronaut…

Catharsis?

I think the best thing the BBC could do for Doctor Who is extend the episodes to a full 60 minutes. 45 minutes is often not enough, and some two-parters don't justify their length.

You're forgetting about Midnight, Nathan Ford's Evil Twin.

I thought it was a gas giant.

I enjoyed the episode, but seeing Davos in the 'next episode' bit was the most exciting part of it.
