I agree, this imbalance needs to stop. We need cars designed and built in America, like the Ford Focus, Buick Cascada or the Chevrolet SS.

Could be made.

The Ford is near-as-makes-no-difference, A HUNDRED FUCKING THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!

This is fucking stupid.

Speaking for the black comnunity, “fuck you, dude”.

I agree 100% with your comment. The girl of the video could’ve been a boy and still the same thing.

Your putting WAY to much emphasis on the gender. Every shop does something like this to the new guy.

agreed. everyone is thinking this is supposed to be some kind of driver’s car...it’s still a Hyundai Elantra....the “sport” has nothing to do with anything. Christ, my wife’s Edge is a Sport, and all it’s good for is terrible mileage and expense 22" tires in a few months.

Yes, but we can’t compare the 201hp Elantra Sport to a 252hp Focus ST, can we now? Especially since the Focus ST can be had with gigantic discounts and would end up about the same price as this Elantra.

Vet or not, I don’t care. If he wants a 2.5t truck, fine. Park it someplace else and not in front of a house or in a yard. Park it someplace where it’s allowed. If that means he has to pay, so be it.

People will be soft on this because it’s a vet, and we all want to support our vets. If it was out in the country, it wouldn’t be a problem.

Wow

If they’re barely making ends meet, how are they going to afford a better vehicle?

That was an argument originally in favor of “cash for clunkers”, where federal funds would assist people in order to buy better vehicles, but A) that opens up a whole other can of worms about socialism and taxes and blah blah blah, and

Nothing like “hey I want to see you this weekend, can you [drive 30 minutes to] pick me up so we can [drive 45 minutes to] go do something near you, after which you can drive me [45 more minutes, but now there’s traffic, somehow so it’s more like an hour to get to my] home where you’ll say good night [and then drive

Wow. I hate it.

Note to automakers: Vertical glass works better than horizontal glass at giving unobstructed views of the outside world.

Just another reason I hate dealers. Tell them you’re looking for a stick and they immediately blurt, “What do you want that for?” or “In this traffic?” or “Paddle shift—the best of both worlds!”

wait since when is being the same speed as a 10 year old low end fwd sedan a good thing?

That’s not vintage, it’s just old.

I think the charm of the gen 1 xterra was is simplicity, I can’t find the ad anywhere but I remember when it first came out there was a full page magazine add that said something like:
