The vehicle collision required to cause that sort of damage to the drivey bits would surely have caused a similar degree of damage to the surrounding shiny bits.

In this case because the damage, the wheel and surround, is VERY localized it seems unlikely it was cause by collision with a vehicle. It almost looks like a suspension failure and the janky wheel caused the damage while they were coming to a stop.  More interesting to me, at least, is who is fine with just tossing…

The C8 is a decent performer and the higher performance models even more so and I respect that they punch well above their price. I’ve just never been able to get over the fact that they look like a Hot Wheels that was designed by a 12 year old.
