I like to guess the grade before I check and I guessed A for sure. One of my favorite things about this show is that it can successfully function in loosenor right structures. It's a super versatile show!

Haven't thought about it but I sincerely hope so. Let's look out for a breastfeeding skit this week and then we'll know!
I see what you're saying. If that was their intention, it didn't come across in the scene for me. For me, I would have bet my life that he latched.
Perhaps it was decided by the writers that the latching moment (symbolizing sacrifice of self for baby) was the moment that Hannah became a woman rather than a girl? The ending didn't vibe for me but maybe that's what they were thinking.
I think the way it ended might be problematic. What I got from the ending was that Hannah was too selfish and that's why the baby wasn't latching. I could see moms getting offended about the episode's thesis that babies don't latch because mom isn't in-it-to-win-it enough.
You know, her stilted speech is weird as hell, but it makes me laugh. I like her and wish she was in more stuff.
I agree. So many of those shows went for open-ended finales that didn't allow for closure. Six Feet Under had the ultimate closure that ideally suited the themes of the show. It was perfect and resulted in a romanticism for the show itself. I wonder why shows like The Sopranos ended the way they did. Did the…
The series finale of Six Feet Under is so good that nothing makes me think of it except itself.
I think it was messed up to bring up Sadie's divorce nonchalantly without any backstory. What a garbage way to re-introduce a character we haven't seen in years and will likely never see again. I think I'm sadmad about it.
I just teared up.
Hahahahahaha. It's so bad now. AV Club just gave up on reviewing it halfway through the season. They were like "no one except that loser MK Ultra will notice anyway".
I just looked it up and it does not appear worth the watch. I will have to live in ignorance.
Perhaps worth a watch!
Dude, I can't believe how much I'm crying. I am deeply attached to these weirdos.
That's a breathtakingly interesting idea and I can't think of something like that ever being done outside of the series finale of Six Feet Under. I would love to watch these weirdos play True American in their senior center.
The overall number of shows reviewed have decreased. Therefore I'm not sur if he's reviewing less shows because there are less shows to review, or if it some other variable.
Joshua Alston writes the best reviews (Leftovers Season 2 was poetry). I'm going to miss his reviews and this comment thread as much as the show. I think I'm going to start picking my shows based on whatever he reviews like a weird TV stalker.
I agree with you, but I'm mostly up-voting you for your name.
Ditto.
I agree MrJackHoliday. Binary Busting Boo Boo gave you a pretty dismissive response considering this "stolen format" has been around for some time.
