that’s the going narrative on most websites and how we should be privileged to pay $60. I’ve already passed on 3 big hitters this holiday Forza, Shadow of War and now Battlefront 2 cause I don’t even want to deal with loot box shenanigans. If they have to raise the base price of games I say publishers should go for it

Just the latest reminder that money-grubbing has gone off the rails in the videogame industry.

This could easily apply to skins as well, the details and algorythms might be different but you could easily set up scenarios where players are matched to increase the exposure to rare skins and such.

Sorry anyone who believes anything that Bungie says at this point deserves to be put into a patented matchmaking system designed to make you spend more money.

Yeah. I’ve suggested elsewhere that, if we want a healthy industry, we need to accept price hikes on games, but that’s probably a non-starter for most people.

That $60 price point is also only a ceiling. When’s the last time you bought a game at release for full price? We’re so conditioned to massive Steam sales that it feels like a ripoff to buy a game at more than 50% off. Why buy it now when I can wait a month and pick it up for pennies on the dollar?

I feel like players have to take some responsibility in this marketplace dynamic. I’ve felt for a long time that the artificial $60 price for all AAA games is detrimental. Games like the Witcher 3, Dragon Age or Grand Theft Auto require a much longer dev time and larger budget than a Madden or Street Fighter .

Maybe Scaramucci Post can post a poll:

Thank you. I’m doing that now.

As a non-knuckle-dragging, non-mouth-breathing fan, I think they should have signed him already.

That’s the response of a man who watched his HOF quarterback go down and knows that the media narrative of him being a good head coach is about to be exposed as a total fraud.

Glad I’m not the only one who found their statement really gross.

Why is he totally believable when it is convenient to your point...but unbelievable when he is inconvenient to your point?

My point is he is an unreliable actor. I also don’t believe that he has had over 100 dogs murdered either. His skewed view of reality isn’t something that can be compartmentalized. The fact that he does contact the Border patrol on some undocumented immigrants doesn’t mean that he is accurate in his reporting.

I’m a dog lover and it doesn’t add up. If someone kills 1 of my dogs it would be a huge deal, police would be involved. If 2 were killed I’d be putting up fences and cameras. If 10 were killed, I wouldnt have them wondering outside of my supervision ever.

A significant number of people vote against their own interests for a variety of reasons every election. Why would a specific minority be any different?

Thank you. Why would we take the outrageous claims of a known liar seriously? When a person is that paranoid and racist, it affects everything they do. You can’t believe a word out of his mouth. 100 dogs will soon turn to 1 dog and it will turn out that it was the neighbor down the street who shot him.

Sadly not. There are those, like the Log Cabin Republicans, that vote against their own well being.

If I had a f*****g dollar every time someone clocked me as an “illegal” or a “Mohammedan” I’d have enough money to fix the VA. The problem is this country is fully of rusties, and whatever the Fox news boogeyman of the month is, they always happen to be brown or black, which translates to I can’t jog around my
