Looking forward to playing this. The multiplayer pop is an issue, but if they can setup some type of crossplay between Rift,PSVR and Vive that would definitly help to alleviate it some. If all games require a controller I don’t see too much that would prevent such a setup, besides the companies themselves.

So on a serious note, why are these both happening on the same day? Both announcements basically came out of nowhere. Is there something special about October 20th that I don’t know about?

Yeah, I agree. I said a little further in this response tree something similar, basically that with Sony ditching the Cell architecture is will streamline multiplatorm development now that the code base can be unified without a ton of custom work to get things working on Cells weird structure.

Yeah, but I could totally hear here saying it, with a hand mock covering her mouth.

Cool stuff, especially liked the ginormous beast, looks like it would be at home in The Mist or some Lovecraft tale. Though whenever I see such huge beasts, usually roaming some alien planet, it makes me think that there would have to be some equally outsized ecosystem to support them. Like thousand foot trees and

Very cool work, this is a Thai shop right? I wonder if this was commissioned by a company or customer?

You are right! Damn talk about a tech I some how blocked from my consciousness but it was a big disc release. I still remember seeing a whole big display laid out at Best Buy I think?

Dude that’s actually an amazingly high player count for a 9 year old game.

I’m actually pretty confidant in that presumption. The market has changed drastically since 2010 (RDR initial release). First console hardware, Sony in particular has moved away from a proprietary configuration, the Cell and it’s subordinate spu’s while being quite capable in the right hands was not the easiest

Sadly it sounds like PC will not be on the immediate release plate, though I’m betting it will get a delayed release.

Fair enough then, no harm no foul. I don’t like to get into random internet disputes so truce.

Oww, that sucks it was a great game. I’ve personally never had any issues with 3rd person fov, but do understand there are some that do. From what I can see there is a mod/tweak to fix it somewhat

Man,

I’m not trying to start some arguement here, but you are saying the only reason people use fight sticks is for nostalgia? This is obviously not the case. The majority who use arcade sticks do it for stick and 6 button layout. Most would agree for fighting games it’s a better layout, there are exceptions but that

I concur, I’ve always been a fan of open palmed democracy, as long as that palm has the strength to deliver a slap!

Oww C’mon dammit! I really hate moving, and the area of North Carolina I live give me the nice illusion of a progressive citizenry (The Triangle), but if we divide up I’m pretty sure I’d have to high tail it out of the south to avoid becoming someone’s property.

Didn’t know about the rage quitting, and am not sure if you are being deliberatly obtuse or really didn’t understand. 4 face buttons is obviously what I am referring to. As in not have the 6 attack buttons laid out in a sequence so that the same mechanical motion can be used to activate each. There’s a whole reason

I dunno, maybe she was really a witch?

Mad respect for IamStillDaDaddy. I watched the youtube at bottom, he played that whole set on regular ps4 controller it looks like! I guess it’s about what your most comfortable with, but with traditional 6 button fighters it’s crazy to see someone being competitive with a 4 button pad, let alone no actual joystick

I will admit to somewhat selfish reasons for me to off topic post like that (A practice which I generally distasteful). I had originally come across the blurb on pc gamer’s site, and thought sure, RockStar probably isn’t going to respond to any media inquiries, but if they were they’d be more inclined to respond to
