GM’s bumper-corner steps are a much simpler, more elegant solution to this problem that never should’ve existed in the first place.

learned the hard way to drain the water out of my racecar before winter storage

The guy who posted the video might qualify as well considering he just had to advertise to everyone he owns a Tesla by putting it in the title of the video.

Seems like proper driver training and holding people accountable for their actions would be a cheaper price with better results........

Pressing the clutch pedal in with your left foot, while simultaneously moving a gear lever with your right/left hand is the only description of a manual transmission that I will accept.

Absolute truth! My battle rattle in Iraq came in at exactly 90 pounds, and I usually left a bunch of shit I didn’t use behind. If I had to take my ruck, it usually weighed no less than 95 pounds. I weighed 163 pounds in Iraq. I could carry it all, all day if I had to, but nearly 15 years later my knees and ankles are

I actually thought they were just some funky reflection off the lighting until they were mentioned in the article.  It didn’t even dawn on me that someone would put lights there.

I don’t care if it’s a repeat. I didn’t see it before and it made me smile. Especially the part when he backed away from the stairs to take the ramp, but clearing the open doors with just inches to spare on each side was pretty good too.

FANCY KRISTEN IS ON TV

Nah. We give David a lot of shit, but the guy was (is) an engineer. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the people working the shows from manufacturers are more excited to talk to him than others.

You do realize snow tires don’t actually require snow to be on the road, right? They’re still a better option when it’s cold outside than all season tires. The rubber remains pliable, unlike all season tires.

If you drive a “fun” car get winter tires. I have driven past 4x4's in the ditch in my BRZ because I had snow tires on.

Still super sketchy on the ice but with the snow tires it’s at least manageable and makes it possible to drive multiple season on a lowered RWD car.

Winterized? It’s not a boat. Cars are, under most circumstances, ready for winter.

Yup. Slow down, give other cars more room on the roads, leave earlier for your destination; and for the love of god, please do not “have a warmer for the road” at your buddy’s place or at the bar. Even if you are below the limit, it still impairs you and the weather is impairing enough on its own.

What they really needed was a turbodiesel Escalade XL

TIL: Cadillac had a diesel program LOL.

Pole position has a completely different meaning over at Jezebel. I think it’s time auto racing should switch the phrase to something else before someone gets recreationally offended and demands social justice.

Is our big problem with it that she’s a woman, or that she’s seventeen? Let’s flip it around a sec and see. If a seventeen year old male racer was asked by an older woman to sign her chest, or tramp stamp area, would we be ok with that? I can’t help but feel there would be far less protest about that, right or wrong.

She’s clearly okay with it. That’s good enough for me.

I’m sure class and NASCAR go hand in hand..
