you never beat FF7? I’d highly recommend getting a copy of it and beating it. the modern ports all have cheats you can enable that make the game easier. although I beat the PS1 version of FF7 on PS3 while using a hacked save file that had everything unlocked at the beginning of the game and every character at level 99.

are you saying all of the gil I’ve saved up in Final Fantasy over the past 20 years is worthless!? I’m shocked! SHOCKED!

Now playing

this video will explain everything. trust me this one is definitely worth watching.

both of those games do have coins though. in Mario it’s Mushroom Coins and in Final Fantasy it’s Gil.

sometimes it’s just the creator of the NFT exchanging it with their second wallet to make it look like somebody actually bought it to trick people into thinking it has value.

despite what you might have heard they barely have anything in common with each other.

The Force Unleashed definitely deserves to be on this list.

So a “hero” experiences loss/hart break, makes a bunch of poor decisions becoming the villain, in an attempt to save the one they love, possibly resulting in the destruction of cities/countries/earth/universes/realities ect they then see themselves for what they have become and then sacrifice themselves to stop the

Wait until these dudes find out about Second Life. They could buy land and start having cybersex with extremely weird avatars today.

Also, not only does the movie goes out of its way to show that Strange’s time with the Darkhold wasnt without repercussions (which I guess might be limited because Wanda destroyed it in the end), but it also makes it clear that every single Dr Strange that has used it in other universes was corrupted.

I remain a staunch fan of this entire cinematic universe, and its growing roster of extremely cool heroines, who include exciting women of color like Xialing from Shang-Chi, Shuri from Black Panther

It took me a moment to figure out why her arc and ending felt so familiar, and then it hit me:

This is what’s so wild to me...it’s all fake money. And not just fake money, but much faker money than even the stock market represents - which itself fake money. Like all those “$100M in NFT’s stolen!” headlines are hilarious. That money never existed, that was just the speculative value of the NFT after a few folks

In the cartridge console days, publishers would put cool looking artwork on the boxes trying to make a game look great. Many would even have only artwork on the back of the box, so there was no picture of the gameplay at all on the box. That was always a red flag that it was a crappy game and to steer clear of buying

No Starkiller?? I know, I know subjectivity and whatnot but come on! Force powers on a Star Destroyer? Yes, please!

it’s not making anyone rich, they’re just getting higher and higher on their own farts and dunning-kruger.

Huh.

Wanda’s fate reminds me of Daenerys Targaryen’s in the final season of Game of Thrones. Both stories depict power corrupting once-beloved female characters, who are then demonized and ultimately disposed of.

Does she also want to kill Spider-Man? Because Kingpin says “hi”. If it sounds familiar, then it isn’t because it is the arc from GoT, it is because it is Kingpin’s story in Into the Spider-verse.
