I was thinking the same thing. why is this not called Dino Crisis!? at the very least they could get some attention by using that title. but on the other hand what if this is a Dino Crisis game but they’re keeping that part a secret?

there really is no debate though. this chest and this room are reused multiple times throughout the game. the only spoilers are in the body of the article.

From Software absolutely reused rooms for this game.

just so we can put and end to this stupidity there are tons of identical treasure chests in identical rooms throughout the game. nothing in the headline nor the image spoil anything for anybody. if you want to know where the chest is you have to read the article.

why would you read the artical if you didn’t want spoilers? and this chest and this room are reused multiple times in the game.

did you though? because this room and this chest are reused multiple times throughout the game.

you don’t know that though. the devs use this exact same room multiple times for treasure chests.

...... It’s a chest sitting on a gray cobblestone floor, surrounded by winding vines, with candles scattered around it.

and to no surprise here’s the Moonlight Greatsword in Elden Ring.

every chest looks identical. nothing in the image tells you which one it is.

it does not.

every chest in these games looks identical and there aren’t any landmarks in the image that could inform you about which chest it is. this could literally be any any chest. there are zero spoilers in the image or headline.

did the headline and image tell you which chest and where it’s located? no, that info is in the body of the article which you have to click on to read. if you read the article then you chose to be spoiled.

some of the peope in this comment section either don’t know what spoilers are or don’t know how to avoid them.

the source of information is always important. if the info comes straight from the devs then it’s not a spoiler. Miyazaki specifically said all of his games will have Patches or at the very least a character like Patches. this means finding out that Patches is in one of his games is not a spoiler. it’s an element of

I literally just quoted the article we’re commenting on.

that’s because Echo Night came out before Shadow Tower Abyss which was Patches first appearance. the Master Sword isn’t always in every Zelda game but much like Patches it’s an element that everybody expects to be there.

As an aside, Patches might also have analogs in Dark Souls 2 and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, though not with the same name. The former’s Mild-Mannered Pate seems friendly when you first meet him, but later on becomes part of a quest line involving a betrayed former partner, while the latter’s Anayama the Peddler is

and yet it’s still not a spoiler that Patches is in the game.

Now playing

funny how you didn’t refer to anything as a spoiler this time, instead you just call it dumb. and you know what? it is dumb. learning new things about a game you’re interested in and getting mad because you’ve been spoiled despite the new info not being a spoiler is really fucking dumb.
