I was in my early 20s during Watergate; I was there. It seemed that we had suddenly learned that our government was in the hands of liars and crooks, and that the vary foundations of democracy were at risk. Everyone was very, very upset.

I do too but it’s because I usually say yes

Point of order. The first captain of the Enterprise was Christopher Pike, in both the Prime and Kelvin Timelines. The original Pilot, The Menagerie, had Captain Pike shown prominently. James T. Kirk took over after Pike.

Heavy drinking, disbelieving laughter, and wondering what the fuck is wrong with my fellow citizens. You’re lucky you’re out. I would like to be out.

when they announced his name, i spent 2 whole days beign unable to fully concentrate because i kept writing bohemian rhapsody parody lyrics in my head. never fully coalesced in a full parody but some good limes were “scaramucci, scaramucci, can you do the trumps scandal” and “nothing really matters, anyone can see,

She married him in the first place, so only a half credit, max.

Because they’re drinking your tears, and they’re fucking delicious.

I’m not even lying to you when I tell you I’m aging rapidly. Legit starting menopause about 6+ years ahead of schedule. Gained 20 lbs since November, too.

The best comment about Scaramucci I’ve seen from any journalist so far:

That simply would not fold adequately for the task at hand.

I’m a little late to the party, but based on the score of your comment and the replies I think you understand now that you don’t have support of half of this community. Oh yeah, Go Fuck Yourself.

Half? You must be new here.

Because it’s so fun to watch delicate snowflakes like you cry so much every time.

You too can now experience crushing disappointment and anger when you’re missing a screw while putting together a Tromso.

What 8 years were those? Surely you don’t mean the Obama administration who had US servicemembers fighting in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Philippines, Libya, and the Central African Republic. He quintupled troop levels in Afghanistan and involved the US in more small conflicts than any president in history.

I don’t know who pulled you out of the grays, but since you are, it doesn’t hurt to reply I guess.

I’ve been working in the sciences and engineering since the late 80's and I’ve never been more dismayed in my professional life. Never have I seen the scientific method, rationality, pragmatism, and good faith assaulted so relentlessly, with such destructive motives, and in such a concentrated, overt fashion.

“true star of Gone With The Wind”? Please. That was Vivien Leigh’s movie and she OWNED it. Olivia was good as Melanie but Vivien was EVERYTHING and Clark Gable was everything else.

I do not want to live to 102. Not even in Paris with a shitload of money and glamourous affairs to look back on. Nope. I’m thinking a nice functional 73 is a good age to take a dirt nap. Nerp on that 102 shit, might as well be a ghost.
