I don’t get the whole “forgiveness” thing in this situation. Why is it a societal expectation or even a question that people should be forgiven for perpetrating horrific crimes?? Omg one of the best parts about watching later Project Runway seasons was seeing how far down Tim could reach to sound excited about the “Sally Beauty Supply hair salon”, or “Mary Kay makeup room”, or whatever sad ass sponsor they managed to drag in there that season. Yeah, I’d probably stick by my friends too in a situation like this. That’s not by way of defense, at all. They did the crimes they have to pay the consequences.

This was the most Meghany Meghan yet. The topic had nothing to do with her family and she went right to how EVERYTHING is about her family - because her family has benefitted from legacy admissions for generations, and rather than just not mentioning it, she brazenly defended it.

I agree.  In general I have always liked the guy but he comes off as a massive douche here.  Maybe it sounded different in person but in print he just seems like a jerk.
