I was also so conflicted about him because I love him and Blair but our first impression of him is literally where he tries to rape Jenny. How the hell do you try to rehab that image?
Yeah, I’ll happily see MDs, PAs, Nurse Practitioners etc but I definitely avoid DOs.
Ooh yes! Definitely in the jaw.
Interesting! It seemed apparent that it was a combination of substance issues and mental health but I don’t remember ever hearing an actual diagnosis.
I see it but reject the comparison with the utterly delightful man who gives us such joy.
Oooh, creepy and I don’t disagree!
Haha, thank you for indulging me.
I love love love NYT cooking recipes! I have no idea how they come up with their estimated cooking times though....they’re always lowballed to a crazy degree! I know I’m a painfully slow prepper, but I made an amazing lentil soup on Monday that should have taken 45 minutes, and the only prep was a roughly chopped…
Wow, sounds like there’s a real beef with Carl’s Jr. and Spielberg.
EXACTLY! I listen to Two Judgey Girls from time to time (my one true Bravo podcasting love is Watch What Crappens) but I never listen to their SH recaps. That really is a chicken-and-the-egg thing though. They only film at the house because they’ve been banned from filming anywhere else because they’re drunk idiots.…
I think it’s a different kind of holistic than general wellness bullshit. I think they mean holistic as in they look at your whole body rather than the symptoms but I never went to med or DO school so this may not be right.
Note where I say that their desire for privacy is understandable and that we’re not entitled to receive updates. Public figures are entitled to privacy but that doesn’t mean people aren’t allowed to ask questions or be interested.
MD and DO schools are different. DO schools are supposed to be more holistic in their approach than MD school but every person I know who went to a DO school went because they couldn’t get into a traditional MD school. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I definitely agree with you for 99.99% of people but I don’t see her parents hurting for money because they’ve taken on this responsibility. Her public image (and likely her personal interests) have always been extremely family oriented and I think she’d be supporting them even if 2008 had never happened.
Those are all fair points. I hope the conservatorship has been in place for so long because she likes having it, but there’s always been something very stage parenty about her parents to me which I think makes me more suspicious of their actions. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I don’t know if it’s shame as much as skepticism and confusion. The Spearses have been incredibly private since her meltdown, which is totally understandable but people don’t know why exactly she’s under conservatorship. Were her issues related to addiction? Fairly treatable mental health issues? Something more…
