Not that it is justification, but I would like to point that the mount that it is a reskin of, is the mount dropped by the Lich King in 25 man hard mode. And as such, Blizzard is allowing players to get a version of a mount, that maybe 5-10% of the playerbase will ever see drop let alone own.
