Someone needs to tell you that you’re being “that guy”, and no one likes “that guy”.

This goes double for those asshole kids always threatening DDoS attacks on Christmas.
Question:
Why would you feel guilty about “relative privilege”? You broke the cycle and made something of your life, and I’m proud as hell of you even though I have no idea who you are.
Ditto. Purple SNES was classy as fuck.
Except the homebrew SNES emulator for 3DS runs plenty of games just fine? Mode 7 stuff is tricky, sure, but I’ve been running Earthbound on my regular 3DS just fine.
kind of a dick move to make it new 3ds only. i dont think theres a point in pushing the new 3ds for people who dont want it. even if the nx doesnt end up have a handheld unit, nintendo is bound to release a new handheld or reveal one sometime soon. it would be a horrible move to not carry VC titles over to the new…
Yeah, that sounds like a cop-out. Granted, I haven’t tried writing an emulator, myself, but if a 333MHz MIPS PSP can do it, saying that a 2.4GHz ARM 3DS cannot be made to do it seems a bit off-kilter to me.
My 100$ tablet can emulate ps1 games but a Nintendo 3ds can't emulate snes games. Yeah sure.
Dear Nintendo,
I think it was bad timing to re-release Disgaea around the same time as Fire Emblem Fates. The FE special edition is gonna keep me occupied for a long time. I feel bad that I still have Disgaea 5 for PS4 still in the wrapper :/
I heartily recommend Red and Blue!
I agree with Patricia. If you don’t already have a 3DS, I’d suggest just waiting until the newly announced Sun and Moon are released this holiday. I played Red and Blue back when they were released in the US when I was in fourth grade. They were loads of fun at the time, but I shudder just thinking about having to…
If it was new 3DS only I, and many others, would never get it. As much as I love my 3DS I can’t afford to plop down for an entirely new system that doesn’t bring that big of a benefit.
So I’m very glad they’re going this route.
Happy to hear that they will be allowing the transfer of Gen 1 Pokemon to Sun/Moon. Big, pleasant surprise for me.
Screw the limited physical release. I got to to the store the day after release (Saturday) at noon. Conquest had sold of half an hour before I got there, Birthright even earlier despite having more copiecopiess.
Man there’s still so many older PS3 games I can play thanks to PS+ for the past few years and some titles I do own.
But my stupid 60GB launch model finally went belly up. I mean mine lasted way longer than most, but still insanely annoying. Seems like those are going to go sooner rather than later if you have one still…
The end of a console’s life is probably my favorite time. There are always a bunch of games that I saw but never played, and most are under $10, many under $5.
I try to stay 2-3 years behind the curve. I rarely pay more than $16 for a sealed game. I also buy a lot of used. It’s expensive to be up to date with this hobby and IMO not worth it. I’m not a big online multi gamer so being late to the party only saves me money. I paid $196 for my Xbox one and hardly play it. The…
Hell, there are still a ton of great PS2 games that hold up just fine.
