They are needed if you want to do the Monster Arena. All Celestial Weapons have free Piercing, and many of the monsters (Area, Species, and Original) are Armored.

How true. Circa 2006, I played City Of Heroes like there was no tomorrow. I was in the military with a 3 on 6 off schedule. Only 3 bills, so very few worries. Life for gaming was good then.

I spent most of the PS3 gen on my PC, so when I hear everyone talking about PS4 this, Xbox One that, I shrug and hunt for more PS3 games.
