I don’t know what makes Nico Hulkenberg deserve a better car. If he deserved a better car, he could have at least beaten Perez this season. Both Perez and Hulkenberg seem fine drivers to play a second fiddle at a top level team, but that’s about that.
Yes, Hamilton is a drama queen sometimes, and I don’t care. On the race track is he a class act.
Yawn. Mercedes of today is the most boring “most dominant” team in history along with Ferrari from 2000-2004 era. Compare the opinions of the fans regarding the Mercedes domination of today, the previous domination of Red Bull, or the 2000-2004 Ferrari domination against the heydays of McLaren in the late 80s.…
Interestingly, the reviewers who tested both versions of the last generation car argued that the V8 R8 was a more balanced, more fun to drive car, with V10 car being heavier, more tail happy requiring more attention and wrestling with.
As to why people flock to these lifted hatchbacks as opposed to station wagons, the jury’s still out.
Fewer than 3k? Please. Now that’s a troll.
Actually, most of European GPs are not subsidized. You see, the European governments don’t feel the urge to advertize themselves by paying money to host an F1 race, the same race that was held there for 50-60 years. That’s actually the reason half of European GPs are in financial trouble and we have already lost the…
Iranians might fly or drive there in order to witness the European GP right in the heart of Europe, just accross Iranian border a driving distance from Tehran.
The IMSA/WEC weekends draws a pretty healthy crowd there IMHO. I was there in 2014, and despite bad weather the place was nearly packed.
Why not? MotoGP and WEC bring in a very healthy crowd there.
JPM said something like he things Road America is the best road track in America. Sadly, neither F1 nor IndyCar are racing there. It’s always a good show when sportscars race there.
Finally the European GP is held in the heart of Europe, Baku, and you still have a nerve to complain about it?? What kind of European are you? Shame.
Behold! The European GP is back on schedule, held in the heart of Europe! Oh joy. I am sure there will be a lot of happy Europeans attending it.
Typical muscle car drag racer, only knows how to do burnouts. The driver did not try to correct the rear end slide by countering it with the front wheels.
Wait a second, are you suggesting that after the glorious 2015 season, people still need other additional reasons to start watching MotoGP? MotoGP is a must see for every motorsports fan.
.. and if it’s diesel, is it still cheating?
I wouldn’t have that information, but there is a major pipeline running from Azerbaijan to Turkey, the South Caucasus Pipeline. Azerbaijan for a long time had ambitions to join a gas pipeline project that delivered gas all the way to Europe.
Prost took a sabbatical in 1992, then came back and won the 1993 title. Mansell too a sabbatical in 1993, then came back and... didn’t have any impact, but he did win the IndyCar championship of 1992. My point is that taking a sabbatical is not necessarily bad, but the driver may want to have some kind of a backup…
They have a bunch of pieces already in place. A new rocket undergoing test. A new space launch facility, and lots of other projects going on. If the political situation allowed, it would certainly make more sense to team up with USA and EU to make it work.
