It’s more of a symbolic measure. Turkey is royally pissed off at USA, because USA supports Kurds against ISIS, and Kurds pose a major threat to the territorial integrity of Turkey. Turks say they join the international coalition, then go and bomb.. Kurds. Things got worse now that Russians have also started supporting

The terrorist activity has been falling off in Caucasus due to tough police and special forces work in that area, although this terrorist activity certainly still exists.

Israel has no high moral ground in this conflict because it has been building its settlements on the occupied Palestinian territories for decades after the Six Day war. So Israel is really in no position to claim “we want peace, but these savages keep attacking us”.

The Saudi eagles are 125+ million a piece

You forget that helping Israel means fighting for the Jewish vote all over the place, but specially in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, etc. Any politician who would dare to end the economic aid to Israel would be ostracized by both fellow Democrats or Republicans. What’s truly scandalous about USA-Israel

It’s very interesting news because Israel tends to acquire only the American weapons that actually work.

I disagree. Vettel still has to prove he can dominate in non-Newey car.

Senna was already 24 during his season at Toleman.

It’s time to let Kimi go.

I don’t know why the crashes of the USA GP were considered far too many. In the 1980s and early 1990s there were races where just six cars finished the race, and those were pretty much normal races. Some occasional races had just five cars at the checkered flag. I really wish F1 went back to those times.

This is Russia we’re talking about. I’ll bet the conclusions are fairly accurate as it is.

Ferrari was a one-driver team since the 1996 season, when Schumacher joined it, with the exception of 2007-2009 seasons. It was no secret that already in 1996 Michael demanded a formal number 1 status. That’s the reason Ferrari never hired from 1996 through 2006 anyone who could possibly challenge Schumacher.

On the surface, I would like to declare F1 racing as processional too, and yet, every other race something incredibly interesting happens on the track. The USA GP was epic, and even the second Russian GP was very good too.

Rosberg is not in the same league with Hamilton. I haven’t seen once a clean pass of Hamilton by Rosberg for the win. He just can’t deal with that kind of pressure. Hamilton can certainly be ruthless on the race track (although not Schumacher level of ruthless), but that’s what it takes to win.

I agree that for the next few seasons Haas may not achieve much. I feel gutted for Grosjean, because he seemed like a driver worthy of a better ride. At the same time, it’s pretty cool what Haas is doing in the sense of building a genuine North American Formula 1 team. It’s not an easy task, and many great endeavors

My cynical opinion is that the only reason Gutierrez is in this team is for his Mexican sponsorship money. Esteban hasn’t impressed anyone when he was in the Sauber team in 2013-2014. Being a Ferrari test driver is again a PR/sponsorship appointment. Today he explained on TV that he has a lot of experience.. because

Why jump to conclusions so fast? We have heard of only a bit of speculation on why the plane went down, while the formal investigation will take months or years.

Between 2010 and 2012, McLaren-Mercedes has beaten Mercedes many times, hasn’t it. Moreover, what are you claiming here, what the Mercedes has a kill switch that will kill any Mercedes powered non-factory car every time the Mercedes drivers take each other out? Please. What a BS

What do you mean by deeper ties and history anyways? Don’t get this statement at all. The teams with the deepest ties are McLaren, Williams, and Ferrari. Surely, none of them is willing to sell their name. The rest of teams are kind of worthless, and have no deeper ties or history than any other team.

It’s a shame because, while we previously could merely assume they wouldn’t win a race, now we can say for certain they won’t
